That's unbelievable!

★We must surprised at the custom of the doors in New Zealand. It is natural to leave the door open when people don't use it. If you close the door, it is the sign of using it. There are many doors doesn't have the key. The public toilet is very clean in New Zealand. Some toilets don't have lever which flush with water, and when you open the door, the toilet is flushed, that is to say automatic. It’s unbelievable in Japan.

★Next, I’m going to talking about bedtime. The usual bedtime in NZ is about half past 10 pm. In Japan, most people except children sit up in this time, and they are working or enjoy watching TV or going to somewhere with friends. It is time to enjoy for Japanese, but most New Zealander is sleeping. The children in NZ are said that they often go to bed at half past 6 pm. Therefore, past 7pm, there are no TV programs for children. If you want to get out of the habit of sitting up late, I recommend you to stay in NZ.

Extra Information of La Tomatina★

If you join Tomatina, you should be careful about some points. This year, about 40,000 people participated in Tomatina. The number of participants and the amount of tomatoes increase every year, and many tourists participated, too. Tomatoes of 120 tons are provided by the city. If you join Tomatina, your clothes must smell of tomatoes after that. Therefore, I recommend you wearing clothes which can be thrown away or the swimsuit and goggles. Participants throw tomato very hard, so they should crush your tomato for other people before throw it.
La Tomatina is a very exciting festival. If you like festivals, you should join Tomatina. There is no border about laughter!

Tomatina

Tomatina is famous festival in Spain. This festival is throwing a lot of tomato each other and held in the end of August. Many tourists participate in Tomatina every year.

Now, I’m going to talking about the highlight of the Tomatina and instructions for participation.
The highlight of the Tomatina is the race which climb up the wooden pole is hold in square called PALOJABON before the sign at noon. The wooden pole of race is enough coated by soap. There is uncured ham instead trophy on the end of the wooden pole.

If you want to join Tomatina, you should be careful about some points. The amount of tomato increase every year, so I recommend you using swimming goggles and wear swimsuit! There are many people in station after the festival was finished, so you should buy a return ticket before the festival begins.

Do you know “JACK”? It’s one of my favorite foreign movies. This story is about a boy who ages four times faster than normal children as a result of a disease called Progeria.
The boy’s name is Jack. Jack is10 year-old boy, but his look is 40 year-old man! It is very curious. Naturally, he didn’t have friends who same age. He has only had contact with his parents and his teacher. However, he decided to commute a school. Unfortunately, he was bullied by other kids in his school. As time goes by, Jack and other kids became good friends. He liked friends, he enjoyed his school life.


♪ACTOR♪
Robin Williams play the role of Jack. Williams was born in Chicago. He is active as an actor and TV star and voice actor. Do you know he is role of Genie in the animated film Aladdin? He appears a lot of films. For example, Jumanji, Patch Adams,Flubber, Night At The Museum and so on. He is very famous actor not only foreign country but also Japan. He is so charming! Many people like him.

♪My opinion♪
I think this movie is comedy, but be contained social problem. I want many people to watch “Jack”. The movie ends with a very elderly-looking Jack, but Jack did his best in his life. I respect him.

Makoto has many complexes about him, so he can’t get on well with others. One day, he met a girl whose name is Sizuru. Her looks is strange, but Makoto can get in good with Sizuru. She thought that want to be always him, but Makoto loves other girl. Though they are always being together, Makoto never thought her as a woman. She decided to improve her, and she wanted to be loved by him. However when he had begun to love her, she wasn’t closed to him yet...

Heroine of this movie is Aoi Miyazaki. She is very famous actress in Japan. She presents a lot of movies and TV commercial, fashion magazines. She is my favorite actress because she is so cute and I’m impressed her acting! On June 15th, 2007 Aoi Miyazaki married long time boyfriend who is actor Sousuke Takaoka.

―my opinion―

This movie is fantasy and pure love. I like Sizuru’s character very much. After I have watched this movie, I was sad but I think it’s very beautiful movie. I recommend this you!

Maid Cafe

I went to Tokyo with my mother for 4 days. First day, we visited Odaiba with my aunt and cousin. Odaiba is famous for television station called Fuji TV, and held a festival in there during summer vacation, so there were very crowded. We were very tired. Then, we went to electric scientific museum. I think modern technology is very fantastic! We enjoyed night view. We stayed at my relative house.
Second day, we went to NHK studio park. Fortunately, we could watch shooting a video drama whose name ATUHIME in NHK Studio Park. I am a fan of ATUHIME, so I was happy. I enjoyed shopping in place called Uraharajuku.

Third day, I went to Harajuku by myself to shopping. I bought clothes and jewelry. Then, I met my mother and aunt, and we visited to Korea Town. There are so many Korean lives in there, so I was very surprised!
Forth day, we visited Akihabara. I was very looking forward to go there; I wanted to go Maid Café. All waiter of this café said to visitor “ Okaerinasaimase gosyujinsama!.” I felt funny, and my mother became really like it(I was surprised.) I want to go Maid Café one more time. I recommend you visit Maid Café.
I really enjoyed my trip in Tokyo.

Okarakonnyaku

Do you know Okarakonnyaku?
☆Konnyaku( a gelatious food made from devil's-tongue starch and it's japanese food) Okara(soybean fiber that left after making tofu)
Konnyaku become big when adding water, so if you eat konnyaku before eating meals, you can prevent from eating too much and having a lot of calories. Konnnyaku has effect of losing cholesterol readings and prevent lifestyle-related illnesses.
The calorie of Okarakonnyaku is less than 1/10 pork loin. The dietary fiber of it is as twice as sweet potatoes. However, the taste of Okarakonnyaku is similar to meat!

She is Japanese comedian whose name is Naomi Watanabe. She is very good at imitating Beyonce, and her dance is wonderful and funny. Your face must become smiling.

The famous anchor man has an accident. When he makes a bow, the wig drop off his head! It is very surprise thing. The other anchor man’s (woman’s) expression is indicative of their amazement.


The strange mirror
Two women look at a mirror, but one of women can’t catch the reflection of herself in a mirror. Why she can’t? Because this mirror isn’t real! The woman who can see herself in a mirror is a twin. One of the twins imitates the other. It is difficult to tell the twins apart, so it looks like mirror.
